Meetings, workshops and group bookings or discounts to concerts by local and visiting professional players and groups are regular events on the EMSQ calendar. The membership year runs from January to December. Memberships received after 1 October each year fall into the following year’s membership.
We have several categories of membership:
Couples (in the one household, not eligible for concessions below) $60
Ordinary members (individuals): $35
Regional members $25 (those people residing outside the Brisbane, Moreton, Logan and Ipswich council areas)
Concessions (Pensioners and Veterans holding a Centrelink card; not Seniors) $10
Full-time students in tertiary education $10
Schoolchildren: free

If you are applying for one of the concession memberships, please state the type and give your card number. Students please identify which university or college you attend. Please annotate the membership form appropriately if you haven’t got space. If you’re under 18, please get one of your parents to fill out the form.
Payments: The EMSQ bank details are on the bottom of the membership form. The most convenient is usually direct deposit on the internet. Alternatively you can deposit at any branch of the Commonwealth Bank (take the form with you so you have the details) or at a post office. You may also pay at EMSQ events. We prefer not to take cheques if we can help it.
You may also donate, but please do NOT combine your donation with your membership. Please click on Donations here or on the menu for more about our tax deductable donations.
PLEASE don’t forget to identify your payment with your surname AND send the membership form to to our Treasurer. If he does not receive the form, we can’t send you the newsletter or be in touch with you. Likewise anonymous payments make it difficult to identify you. If you have done both of these and do not hear from EMSQ, please contact us so we can put that right.
EMSQ holds public liability insurance for $30 million.
